Seeking a Saint Louis area DVC'er! ?

About a month ago, at sports camp in the Saint Louis area I saw an SUV dropping off some kids for the same camp as my son... the car had a Missouri license plate about DVC--I can't recall if it was ILUVDVC or what but I never had a chance to talk to the person driving...and the camp was over...it was at Shaw Park and as I live around here and would like to make connections with any local DVC members I was wondering if that person posts to this board...PM me or email me...

I'm pretty sure Granny has a DVC type vanity license plate and he's from this area too. Maybe it was him! There are a few of us DVCers in the St. Louis metro area I believe, including a firefighter that lives near us out here in St. Charles County with a really cool Mickey shaped berm in his front yard!

It would be fun to have a little DVC meet of our own in good old St. Louis, wouldn't it?

Laura...you're right, I do have a vanity license plate on our minivan, but it says "VWL-BWV".

I have seen an SUV once that had "DVC-4US"...but never was able to make contact with the driver. It was in a parking lot, and I was going to hang out a bit to see if the driver would emerge, but DW said that would be downright scary!!!

Hey, we'd love to meet some of the St. Louis folks. We're in South County.

I live In Ballwin... work in St. Charles. It would be fun to meet some of the other DVCers in the area... Perhaps we should rent a party box at a cardinals game and instead of Fred bird coming to meet the kids will bring Mickey and Donald instead.... Just an idea. Think Cardinal's ownership you go for it?

Not our plate either, but we do live in Dardenne Prairie (our address used to be considered O'Fallon, MO). We moved here from Manchester a few years ago, and I work in Maryland Heights.

This is really cool to know that fellow DIS nuts like me live around here! Anyone else waiting for some good airfare that won't interfere with the school year?

We aren't DVCers yet, but will be touring SSR in October during our trip. If SSR isn't for us we will be coming home to look into a Resale at OKW (we have bought points from this board for the past 2 years and have always stayed at OKW). We are in the Ballwin as well. Glad to see other Disney fans nearby.

For good airfare from STL to MCO definitely sign up for Southwest Internet specials--Southwest has two nonstops to MCO from STL -as most folks around here know American is drastically cutting service from STL--nonstops from here are going to be rarer and rarer.
