Seeking a Disney buddy for a trip next year!

Hi Everybody!


I’m new to this board so please accept my apologies if there is already a thread for this and I didn’t look hard enough!

Next year I want to plan a trip to go to DLP (my first time to DLP).

The problem I have is that nobody in my life gets my Disney obsession and don’t really want to spend the money to go to the park! I’m a little daunted to go alone and I think it would be more fun to go with a fellow Disney lover! I’ve had enough of waiting and I 100% want to visit next year at some point. I’m really hoping that I find somebody here that wants to go as well!

when are you planning to go to DLP? I have been twice to DLP and 6 times to Disneyland California. I have done solo and almost solo trips to the parks. I am thinking about taking a 2 day solo trip to DLP at the end of February. I would be flying from Ireland and booking my own hotel room but I could meet you in the park and we could buddy up

I was thinking end of March or April but I'm flexible! Just wanted to get over the added expense of Christmas! Haha!

Was thinking of going for a couple of days too so that's all good with me!

Hi Jo!

We're getting our Annual Passports at Christmas, and will definitely be going early January, June, July and October. We'll also likely go in March/April

None of our friends or family get our obsession, but it's not stopped us! If you really want to go, don't let being alone stop you - trust me, you won't be the only one! However, if you're going around the same time as us, feel free to drop me a message and we'll gladly keep you company for a day!

Thanks Hollie! That's so nice! And that's a lot of Disney time!

I think I'm a little daunted to go alone for the first time! I've been to Florida once when I was 7 but I don't really remember much just that I loved feeling the magic!

You are doing good, theres so much to DISboards, not just this section. Its not that hard to get your post count up, all it takes its maybe 5 minutes here and there. Get involved, post a couple more times, and then we can chat on PM here

I only did a few posts to start with and now look at mine! Although it's a bit scary to realise that I've been hanging around here for years ..... my DDs were young when I started posting and now the eldest has her own home, the middle one is looking for one and the youngest is off to uni! There's a Chat thread for this board where we can discuss anything non-Disney, I'll find it and bump it up.
