I am making a trip to WDW on 12/3-12/6 to see the holiday decor, MVMCP, Festival of Lights etc.. This will be my 5th trip in 2005 so I feel I can concentrate on seeing the holiday stuff and just ride my favorite rides. I stay off site so am wondering which of the resorts would be best to see. I stayed at the BCV/BWV in Nov 2003 and was able to see that resort area decorated. I am thinking the top must sees would be AK lodge and Grand Floridian

Any other must see resorts for holiday decor. I have been to most of the other resorts to see the "regular" decor but am looking for the best holiday decor. Saratoga Springs? :moped:

I will go to the 4 parks also. Any favorites/ not to be missed at the parks would be appreciated also.

Thanks

The resorts that we toured last December and loved were...
Grand Floridian
Wilderness Lodge
Yacht Club
Beach Club
Boardwalk

My parents toured the Swan and Dolphin so I can't comment on those. We also were hoping to hit AKL, but ran out of time.....

Enjoy your trip in December! The decorations and atmosphere this time of year are wonderful! :wizard:

Osbourne Lights at MGM a must. Candelight Processional may be on the menu. WL is absolutely gorgeous for the holidays. I have hard GF is beautiful as well. Have a great time. :wizard:

Decorations are so wonderful at WDW~Halloween is carved pumpkins, Christmas is gingerbread, and Easter is chocolate. We spend on day going from resort to resort to look at the decorations. One of my favorite visits was sitting in a rocking chair in the WL lobby watching them assemble a huge chocolate 100 Acre Woods with Winnie the Pooh and friends.

We did this on the last day of our Dec 2004 trip. We had already been to the AKL and Contemporary for dinners.

Parked our car at Poly and had breakfast, hopped on monorail to GF, hopped on monorail to MK, hopped on boat to WL boat back to MK to monorail back to our car at the Poly then to DD for late lunch before catching our flight.

It was a great way to end the trip!

What great idea! Our last day is 12/2, and I have been trying to think of what to do between check out and leaving for the airport!

WL really put us in the "holiday spirit". Take a little time to sit in the lobby with a beverage, or go there for a meal. GF is also special, and we liked YC, BC, and BWI. I know we were in AKL and just can't remember it ........ but we LOVE AKL and Boma so it's always worth a trip there..

we spend one day going to ALL of the resorts. Just planned it out so we used the monorail for those resorts then the boat to WL. and then transfered at the closest park to get to the other resorts.
Lots of pics and had a great time.
