Seeing MNSSHP Fireworks & Happily Ever After

So I'm trying to find a way to see both but struggling to make that happen. We plan to visit MK on a MNSSHP party night to avoid the crowds then eat dinner nearby to see the fireworks. However, in order to see HEA we would need to visit MK on our arrival day or on our planned "rest" day.

We could visit MK on a non-MNSSHP day but crowds could be heavy.

Our flight lands at 1pm and we should make it to POFQ by 2-2:30pm. I'm not sure how tired we may or may not be if we opt to visit MK for fireworks. What would you do?

Jumping on this thread to ask an accompanying question. What time do the MNSSHP fireworks begin? There is no time on the calendar that Disney provide. Is it like the regular fireworks at 9, or later? We are trying to book a CG res and want to make sure we are there for the show. Thanks.
