We are stayinig at the Poly so doing the O'hana bfast is really the easiest. The only thing is the last time we ate there it was so horrid I don't know if I want to repeat it. Was thinking of doing Tusker House but i really prefer doing AK sitdown for lunch. I am not a huge fan of chef mickey. Is there any place I am not thinking about? If not, would you choose tusker or ohana?

What was so horrid? We stayed at the Poly in 2006 and found Ohana for breakfast was great! So much that the kids wanted to go back during our trip in 2008. It was even better. We had a EARLY breakfast time so maybe that was a factor.Food brought to your table was wonderful. The rolls were fab and the juice was to die for!

The check in line was such a mess with kids running all over the place, it took awhile to get seated. THen our food was cold and the waitress was no where to be found. The food was also pretty bland and tasteless (with the exception of that pineapple bread I found to be tasty). I don't know- it might be worth it convienence wise to do it again.

We love Ohana breakfast, it was awesome! We went in August at 7:30 am and we are going back in a few days and cannot wait!!

I would vote for Ohana's simply for the convenience factor! The days can be so busy at WDW and it's one less bus to take.

I don't know if they still have it, but in 2006 we ate breakfast at Cape May Cafe with Mickey & gang. It was okay, I was actually pleasantly surprised at Chef Mickey's for breakfast in '08 (I don't know if I would ever eat there for dinner, but breakfast was good). We also enjoyed Ohana's (the wait was ridiculous), but at least the kids enjoyed the parade around the restaurant. If you don't like Cape May cafe then I would try Chef Mickey's or Ohana's again. Maybe it will be better this time around.

O'Hana and Tusker House were both wonderful, but very different atmosphere. We had ADRs for when they opened both times. Service, food & interaction was great at both.

O'Hana is one of my new favs!!! Maybe you were just there on an off day, i found everything to be pretty tasty.
