Seeing fireworks from outside the parks

We arrive on a Saturday late afternoon and are not going into the parks that day. We are staying at the Disneyland Hotel. Is there any place in DTD or at the DLH where we could see the Saturday night fireworks?

Believe you should be able to see them from the Esplanade, if nothing else. Or possibly walk to the Mickey & Friends garage and watch from the top there.

Lots of people just sit down in the Esplanade. You don't hear the music or see the low stuff, but it's still a good show. We did that coming back from our late Napa Rose dinner.

Esplanade, Downtown Disney (parking lot) or the parking structure are all great places to see the fireworks!

As others have said, you can see them from the Esplanade and the Mickey & Friends parking structure (unfortunately, they don't pipe in the music to either location). You can also see some of the show from a few places along the main walkway in DTD (mostly the higher up fireworks). I watched them from the bridge over Disneyland Drive (near the pin store) a few weeks ago (not a great view, but not terribly crowded either).

Maybe from your room. We booked a standard room and were placed on the 4th floor of the Adventure tower facing DtD. We would have had an unobstructed fireworks view had we stayed in the room the night they went off. Plenty of rooms at the resort have great fireworks views, so just wait until you get into your room to find out. You might get lucky!

A bit more of a hike but you can (at least you used to) take the Tram to the M&F garage and watch form the top floor which is open air.

It's a fast walk from DLH. No need to take a tram. Anyone can go up there to watch. There is no restriction on entry to the parking structure.

Yes! I was going to post the same. Some of the rooms have firework views. Ask your Front Desk CM that checks you in where you can see the fireworks from the hotel. They always have great suggestions!

We watched from here once and it was a pretty nice view. We've also watched from the esplanade and Mickey & Friends. The bridge will be closest to DLH. Hopefully you will be able to see them from your room.
