Seeeeriously?????

and plus the second picture with her dad isnt even that bad

The only Disney star who seems to have made it through her teens being normal and not sexing it up is Hilary Duff. She might not be the best singer or best actress but she has stayed true to herself (I think). Raven Symone is good too but she wasn't as young when she started on Disney. She was a childhood star too though. Just so sad that most of the young girls who grow up in the spotlight act like THIS.

She's fifteen.
This is so bad.
I read in a article online that her parents were there for the photoshoot but left before this photo was taken and they are mortified. Well, maybbeeee they shouldn't have left. :/

And this is why I hate that show passionately.
Kids don't want to be princesses anymore.
They want to be Hannah Montana, or like Miley Cyrus.
And it's kind of disgusting to see a five year old walking around the Disney store with a Hannah Montana doll instead of an original Disney character.

::yes:: Mhmmm. I totally agree. I wish it would go back to when I was younger and everyone wanted to have their hair done like Cinderella or wear a Snow White dress. Now little girls want Hannah Montana wigs and Hannah Montana outfits.

Yeah, they openly admitted they were pleased with the photoshoot. Then all this bad media came out they changed their story around.

Hmmmm. Very suspicious.

There's another photo of her like laying in her dad's lap.
It's kind of creepy looking, it could be fake, but eh..
It might be that he just looks really young in the photo, and then knowing it's her dad.

That was the one that actually bothered me.
It's just...ehhh. Creepy :/

The picture that's getting all the publicity doesn't bother me that much.
I mean, it's not very classy or appropriate for younger audiences, but I don't think the media should be THIS focused on it.
Have you heard anything about the war today? Nahh, Miley Cyrus' photoshoot is WAY more valid and important than that.

And the Sex and the City thing doesn't bother me. Maybe she shouldn't have mentioned it, but I watched that show since I was in seventh grade, it's not that bad.

strange... noticed a thread on the Community Boards and a thread on the News & Rumours Boards about this as well.

Here, comments are generally negative
on the CB, comments are a mixture of negative and positive
on the N&RB, comments are generally positive

Though, I have to agree that many teenage girls nowadays (many younger then Miley) show off more skin at the beach then you see in that picture. People are only finding it shocking because of it's seductiveness and the suggestion at she has nothing on under that bed spread.

Might you be able to blame Vanity Fair for adding this picture into their magazine? There were probably hundreds of photos they could have used, but they knew this photo would cause a stir and probably sell more of the magazine...

Right now i'm neutral on this picture, but my views are more onto the side of it being positive then negative (about 42/68)

well Leibovitz is definitley known for being racy and contraversial...as is Vanity Fair as a magazine, and I believe they've said they're going to release the photo & interview.
But I do somewhat agree that they should know where the line between appropraite & inappropriate is.

A good point was brought up on the radio programme that I listen to this morning, they said that if this photo was found in someone's home...like some random person had taken a photo of their daughter or something like that, there would probably be a big police investigation!!!

But it bothers me that most radio hosts I've heard talking about it are blaming everyone BUT Miley herself. I mean, 15 is definitley old enough to know what you're doing. :confused3
Also...BIlly Ray, grandparents, etc...what were YOU THINKINGGGG???

Radio hosts here are mostly blaming her. They're quickly losing respect for her.

I knew it would happen sooner than later. She can't stay good all of the time.
