Mines on Sunday, but I have really sad information...@_@ ug must hold back the tears. My plans totally went into the ground. One of the members of our party was going to arrive by plane at 5pm..the plane was canceled!! They didn't even ask us if we wanted to change carriers. They changed his ticket to Delta and he's going to be arriving 3 hours later! We were going to arrive at the 1/2 way hotel at 9pm tonight..looks like we'll have to cancel the hotel and try to drive their tomorrow that's an 8 hour drive..I'll skip out on a whole day of Disney..we'll make it after the last night of fireworks when we are going, the last day the park is open until midnight while we're there. I'm totally bummed.
It's one thing after another going wrong. The first trip we had planned for these same days was hawaii, we won the trip but after the earthquake we didn't want to take a chance and wanted a nice birthday somewhere. Disney popped in my mind. Just one bad thing after the other.
Because now they can not find his reservation American booked as a reschedual. I've been on the phone with Delta and American for 2 hours. I'm on the phone with him and he just got his bag back from American .
He went from counter to counter and they have no spare flights.
When they do find his ticket, we'll be leaving at 8:30, then driving for 4 to 5 hours, . I know I always go to bed by 9pm I'll never be able to stay awake for the drive.
We are also thinkging of canceling the rental car and hotel and purchasing morning flights which is over $1,000, our Disney trip is turning into a nightmare.
Update Andy finally got his ticket and there is a 50% chance my mom will not make it to Disney. She's sick, this will be my first birthday without her that's not going to be fun at All.
Update #2
My guests plane is now delayed another hour and a half. He won't be getting in until 9:23pm here. Then it's an hour drive back home. 4 hours of sleep then a long drive. Still waiting for the offical flight time. So far he's stuck in Atlanta.
