Last night after we left my mom and dad's (about 6:30p), we headed out to the cemetary to put a Christmas tree on Gabrielle's grave. Of course, it was pitch black dark at this time, so my mom said "You're not going out there tonight, are you!?"

Anyway, we got there and I kind of turned the van so the headlights shone on the stone so we could see what we were doing. As soon as I got all the kids out, sure enough someone else pulls into the cemetary, so I had to go and move the van. They did the same thing....pulled their car so that the lights were shining on the grave they were at.

So, ya see mom.......we're not the only crazy ones visiting a cemetary after dark!!! :)

6TM....you are not crazy at all......I have visited the grave yard many times after dark...my sisters grave. When ever Mom is missing we usually can find her there..day or night. I'm sorry that you "have" to go at all. {{{HUGS}}}}

What a sweet thing to do, putting a christmas tree on Gabrielle's grave. I don't think you're crazy. If it didn't get dark so early you wouldn't have had to go after dark.

Like Snowwhitemom, I'm just sorry you have to go there at all.

{{{HUGS}}} sweetie.

Nothing crazy about that. It's actually quite moving. {{{Hug}}}

I will echo everyone else's sentiments and say I am sorry you even have to do that.

We live across the street from an old New England type cemetery, and there is one grave that is visible from our house where the people put a little Christmas tree with lights every year. It must run by battery, and they put it there Christmas Eve and it runs all night and the next day. The batteries run out Christmas Day in the evening, and then they leave the little tree there for a few more days.

I agree with Disney Doll and the others

But, I don't think you are crazy at all. I think it is a wonderful tribute
