SECURITY SCREENING

During a trip in March we had to go through security scanners at MK. We heard they were portable scanners that were randomly at the different parks. Can anyone update please?

There are still metal detectors at all parks. They also placed them at, I think, the TTC to scan for the monorail and boats and als at each monorail resort. It appears to have cut down on the delays at the entrance to MK. If I got anything wrong I am sure someone will chime in.

There are not portable scanners placed randomly at the different parks. Where did you hear that?

Otherwise, you are screened as you enter each park. Either bag checked or if you have no bag you may or may not go through a metal detector.
