Security bypass line like TSA PreCheck

Came across an article, don't want to link it, not sure if its allowed that says "WDW considering security bypass line for annual passholders like TSA precheck."

Sure, anyone can Google the article though.

Not sure on my thoughts on this one, it would definitely be helpful but at the same time, I rarely spend more than a couple minutes at any given bag check, I don't mind going through bag check to deter people that may have bad intentions.

Until I see this posted as a rumor on a Disney centered blog, I consider it less then a rumor.

I can't see WDW doing a bypass line that allows someone to skip the bag check because they bought a special ticket. There is no security in that.
A separate line specific for AP/DVC members, sure.
