hi there, im going to disneyland paris this sunday and we are staying at the santa fe hotel, as we have to check out by 11am and our ES train isnt until 1846, is the left luggage area secure?? can you lock your bags away??
any advice would be a great help
thanks

There is a left luggage area at each hotel which works with a ticket system and a proper locker storage place at the train station . Which cost us 9€ for the largest locker last time we travelled.

There is also guest storage at the front entrance of the park. It costs 2.50 Euros for each bag. We always found it easier to leave our bags there instead of the train station or the hotel cause it's on the way out of the park anyway.

thanks very much!!! and its definately secure here?? bags are locked away and no1 else has access?? or is it one big storage area for everyones bags??
im probably looking way too much into it but i like to be sure of these things!!

The people behind the desk at guest storage are the only ones with access to your bags. You can put a lock on your bags for extra peace of mind. My bags always have a lock on them when I hand them in and they have never said it was a problem. Keep in mind your bags will have to be security checked before you can even walk towards the entrance of the park with them, so don't put the lock on until after that.

Goodness! I hadn't thought about the parks' security checking with *luggage*! How efficient is that process? The queues at Disneyland/CA are pretty long just for checking people's purses, backpacks, and strollers/diaperbags without dealing with luggage!

It's also such a hit-or-miss process; some of the CMs are fairly thorough, and others basically wave you through. It does not instill any real sense of security, at least to me. It seems more like going through the motions rather than taking it seriously.

We always take our cases to Guest Storage on our departure day and find that when we get to the security check they pull us out of the regular lines and look at our cases at the side so it doesn't really take much longer.
