Your Secret Spot in each park, where you go to just sit(maybe people watch). No rides, no restaurant, just the one spot you go to to take a breath.

In AK, after you walk out of the DINOSAUR ride (thru the gift shop), make a right and walk thru a small path of trees. This puts you at the back entrance of Chester & Hesters's Dinosaur Treasures store. There is a "patio" off to the side with a few benches. It's relaxing.

If I told you then it wouldn't be a secret now would it?

:)

Seriously though my daughter is a HUGE fan of the tangled bathrooms and she will sit there five-ever! (longer than forever!) I like the space between the lunching pad and space mountain, you can often see the families dancing and I get to watch the water painters.

There are some nice overlook areas by the river in AK between Asia and Africa. Sunny, but nice for an out-of-the-way respite.
And certainly the gardens in the back of the UK in Epcot.

MK - Used to be the rose garden but they've done away with that so I actually like to ride the Liberty Bell.
AK - Both the trails have benches along them and I like to just stop and kind of sit and relax on those.
HS - used to be the streets of America but since they've closed those it's a little harder but we enjoy to sit at the HBD lounge and enjoy a drink and an appetizer. Also the Backlot Express QS always seems to be quiet.
Epcot - This one is full of places to sneak away to. In China there are benches throughout the gardens, in Japan the gardens behind the coy pond, in Canada the gardens, in GB the gardens and my all time favorite is the tile room in Morocco.

MK - the "art festival" alcove, as we call it, that is on main street as you head toward the castle, right before the crystal arts shop on the right, you take a right. We also go shop in the Big Top, and then find a table back there out of the way.

EPCOT - There are lots of places... Japan is one of our fav's, back behind the koi pond, or even just under the overhang outside of the shop, there's a ledge that runs all around the building. The path down toward the international gateway still has good benches. Grab something from the Norway bakery and sit under the overhang at the tables...

AK - I never rest just run in and do what I want and then run out. ha!

HS - Everything has changed so much I don't really have a spot there anymore. However, I do enjoy grabbing a burger at Backlot and eating in relative peace.

Tom Sawyers Island - seems fairly light of crowds all the time.

I had this weird idea to leave something in my will to have my wife and my cremains cemented into a stone and have a family member drop it on the island. I realize it's completely against the rules and perhaps morbid but that's my idea. Just one more stone on the island overlooking haunted mansion isn't going to hurt.

I'm not sure if they're still there as I've not been in a few years but over by btmrr there is a little decking area with some rocking chairs that look over the water, I like to sit there for a few minutes if there's noone around

Great Question

AK, I like to grab a bite, and relax at the tables outside of Flame Tree.
DHS, the backlot express is a nice place to sit, and have a drink, and watch the people go by . . . then again, with everything past that being torn up, I guess there aren't a lot of people going by there anymore.
MK, Tom Sawyer Island. The checkers table outside the candy shop in Town Square. The little side street to the right on Main Street just after Uptown Jewelers, the little covered walkway in Adventureland between the sunglass shop, and the rest of the gift shops, where the Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom portal is. Outside the Tangled Restrooms. The porches in Frontierland.
EPCOT, this park is just full of little nooks and crannies. The benches / walls between Spaceship Earth, and the restrooms / locker area. Often there is shade here, and it is a bit cooler. The breezeways on either side of Future World, going through the Innoventions buildings. There are benches, and often a vendor selling drinks. All along the World Showcase there are spots near the edge of the lagoon with benches, and often even shade. Mexico, on the wall of the fountain. I love to sit there while my wife and daughter shop. Norway outside of the bakery. Germany, in the quick service, love to have a frankfurter and a drink. China there are benches around the pond / gardens that are a lovely place to sit for a bit. France, along the fountain, or in the back near the bakery. Japan, behind the koi pond, in the garden area. UK in the gardens.

AK, we always get a root beer float at the Anandapur Ice Cream Truck and then, directly in front of it, is a wooded area and building with prop bicycles lying against it. Its a good place to sit against the wall and eat your ice cream in the shade. We discovered it when we were looking for a quite place for my son to vomit after he used our Fast Passes and rode EE two times in a row!

I love the rocking chairs in the Briar Patch -- it's that little shop near the exit of splash mountain. Very comfy!

AK - used to be the Dawa bar, need a new one.

Epcot - the UK, Japanese, and Chinese gardens, the tile room in Morocco, the benches by the water in Italy while having limoncello and/or wine. These kinds of environments are really my favorite part of Epcot in some ways and probably why I love it so much.

MK - over near Carousel of Progress, there is a path that leads to the big bay of bathrooms. Plenty of benches here. Not exactly a stellar view, but quiet. May fill up quicker now that they added that Joffrey's coffee place in this area. At night, I love to sit on the benches on the bridge right at Splash Mountain and people watch.

HS - getting hard and harder to find a place here, but since it feels like a half day park at best while all the construction is going on you may not need a place! I would still go sit near where Starring Rolls was I guess.

AK - too many places to mention here. Love to go down the tiger trail and find a spot to sit. Also right across from the tea place before you head up to EE, there are some tables off the beaten path.

Epcot - Love to go sit by the Koi pond in Japan. There are tables associated with the QS in Japan right there, but most people coming out of the QS place sit down way before they come to these tables.

I have several spots: MK: I like the rocking chairs close to the Hall of Presidents facing the bridge coming into liberty square. I also like, area behind the Christmas shoppe in liberty square. also the covered outdoor patio beside what used to be called the Enchanted Garden by the Teacups.

Epcot: just about anywhere in the world showcase, but my favorite is to sit around the fountain inside the pyramid in Mexico.

Great Stuff guys.

Ooh, I like this post. It's always nice to sit down with a drink and snack and just people watch.

AK - we like the Dawa bar - there is a concrete bench/planter to the right of the bar itself that is in the shade. We grab a drink and chill out there while the drummers are playing. We also like the benches that are hidden here and there in the Maharajah Jungle Trek. Outside of Dinosaur is usually pretty quiet, as well.

HS - I haven't been there since the construction got really heavy, but we always liked finding a spot around the lake, somewhere near Gertie. The other spot we like to chill out is right in front of where RnR exits - we like to listen to the screams coming from ToT and the RnR music.

EPCOT - The tiled area in Morocco is so cool and comfy. We also love sitting by the fountain in France, the big statue in Italy, and the benches along the water in front of the Germany beer carts. Our two favorites, though, are in Great Britain/England back where the band plays, and in Canada right in the courtyard. Both are great places for a cold beer.

MK - We like the tables that are in front of the Plaza for their beautiful view. We also like Tom Sawyer Island because it's quiet and usually you can find a little spot in the shade somewhere.

MK- Frontierland porches, the benches behind Splash Mountain, and the TTA.
EPCOT- World Showcase, and benches/curbs near Test Track and Mission Space. Spent plenty of time hear waiting for baby swap.
AK- plenty of possibilities, and a few of ours have already been mentioned. We also enjoy the Boneyard as our kids can run around and burn off extra energy while we take in the sights.
DHS- don't do much here anymore.
