Congrats, Brandi, that's so cool! Back in the day, PD and Jacqueline and maybe Kat had some lovely limey gifts, maybe they will post one for you.

Mary, I hope you can still make it in May, or possibly end of Sept/first of Oct? It is looking like T is still going for the marathon then and we are thinking to upgrade our tix in May to AP's and come back for a long weekend (probably 5 days) then, at least that's MY plan. If we do that I will probably also try to throw in a surprise trip near Meag's birthday next year in March to get the good out of the AP's.

My DH and I are at the world Oct 2-7th for Food and Wine Festival.... So we will be there too.

Congrats on the tags, Brandi! Mine is so old, but so are lots of others!

Anyone know how to either deal with kids fears or just get them to sleep all night in their own beds? They were both in my bed at 4:15 this morning. Krista had been there a while, as she keeps smacking me awake while she is dreaming. She does some leg movement, yells "Mom" or some form of it and then reaches out to see if I am there, usually smacking me in the head. Can't tell when she comes in though, little light weight sneak.

Jeff came in this morning @ 4:15, telling me he couldn't get back to sleep. So in he crawls to get warm. So between Mr. boney & the head smacker, I got to rest, not sleep, for the 45 minutes before I had to get up to work.

Tonight I think I'll give them something so they can sleep and I'll get a good night! Either that, or get them sleeping and move to another bed or the comfy couch!

Move over, cats!

Kat I feel for you.. Nick has night terrors all the time.. I never get sleep unless he is sleeping with me..

I don't have much experience in that area, all my kids and grands just went to sleep in their own beds except when they were sick. Wish I had some sage advise for you.

Happy St Pat's Day PEEPs.

Thanks for all the good thoughts and wishes. It looks like our trip might still go on as planned-- don't want to jinx meself. My mom is really excited to go. Stop telling me about future plans.... you guys are killing me.

Kat-- no advice for the sleep snugglers. We used to get in bed with my folks on weekend mornings and share stories and stuff so I have fond memories of that. I loved it when mine did that too. Even though its annoying it doesn't last forever so "enjoy" it while you can.

Congrats on the new tags Brandi.

Today is the 1 year anniversary of my sister's death. Still a good day. My mom's making a boiled ham, cabbage, and tator dinner for us. Have a good day PEEPs.

Kelly-- I was thinking about your Rainbow Brite issue. Maybe you should offer a ransome..... 100 skittles or something. Post some missing pics around the Depot. Not to make it a joke issue (too much), but to also put pressure on the offender.

We're SUPPOSED to have a new nephew today, but even though she went in at 2am this morning, she's only dilated to 2 so far, so he may hang in until tomorrow. Apparently my new nephew is as stubborn as my brother... LOL

Kat, that interactive graveyard looks awesome. Can't wait to check it out. We actually went on the Haunted Mansion for the first time this December, Rick went in 2007, but the kids and I missed it. And we STILL haven't been on Carousel of Progress, so that is definitely the goal for the next trip, along with Finding Nemo, Lion King, Beauty & the Beast and Fantasmic shows. And a parade or two, since we always seem to miss the parades.

Oh...and guess what???? Whoever took Rainbow brite put her in my second locker last night!!!! So whoever it was....knows that I have 2 lockers...and which ones are mine.

I now have 2 new locks on both my lockers.

T, sounds good to me, and I am sure Rick will go for that, really. He would rather ride with the kids than sit around for a parade, anyway... The only parade we have ever really seen any of was at HS (back when it was still MGM) and we were trying to leave that day in 07 and couldn't get out till the parade passed by, which is the ONLY reason we got to see that one! It just isn't a high priority to him apparently.

I checked out your thread....the DIS obviously isn't wnat it used to be. I think it is a great idea (and have a snarky response about the duct tape and hammers, but have to figure out a DIS appropriate way to word it in my response)

I am counting down another half hour till I can go enjoy this weather!

Really what a bunch of.... hmmm.... no dis appropriate word comes to mind. my Mom always says that if I don't have anything nice to say I shouldn't say anything at all...so I guess I can't say anything about the posters on that thread. Limeys go over and show your support for our doodle!
