I made it to L.A. on my own without too much trouble. My big family (my sisters mostly) were REALLY bugging the carp out of me, so it was nice to just drive the car and sing at the top of my lungs, all by myself. You know those truckers were wantin' me, 'cause I'm a rock star! Brian and I have a date in Westwood, the village around UCLA, tonight. This is where we met, so it's pretty special. I'm sleeping in his dorm room, too. Why does that seem familiar?When his conference ends tomorrow, mid-day, we'll try to check into our motel and head off to DL. Our APs (yes, I talked him into them) aren't good on Sat., so we'll have that as a swim and Downtown Disney day, then parks Mon. and Tues. I am SO excited about the new Star Tours and Little Mermaid ride!Everything else is gravy.

So i have torn the cartilage between my foot and big toe, this caused a flap to fold over backwards and rub between the joint.

Painful. Yes.

Ugh i hate this boot already.

Not wanting to be outdone, I have secured myself a black one of those today. My ankle got all black and my foot was swollen last night. Went to the Dr. this morning, and they got me an emergency appt with the orthopedist. Turns out there is a torn ligament in my ankle, so I am lucky enough to now have some super attractive footwear. Still have the crutches too.

August is a busy Month for me! Tomorrow I am going to Bethel Woods (site of the original Woodstock concert) to see All Star weekend and Selena Gomez with Tink and Winnie, Saturday LizzY, Nana and I are going to Bethel Woods to see the Boston Pops. The 13th through the 20th we will be in Cape Cod. The 21st I go to NYC with WInnie, The 28th a play in Woodstock with LizzY to see a freind of mine from high school in a play. The 27th My nephew gets married, the 28th we take Lizzy back to school, the 30th we leave for the muthaland! My only free weekend day is this Sunday. Though I guess I will count next weekend as free as that will be vacation! I think we have a west point game the Saturday after we gewt back from Disney. Jey I'm free on September 11th! Anybody want to do anything? LOL! At least it's all fun stuff Iother than bringing LizzY back to school! SO I can;t complain!

boy you sure a busy i have yet to go to bethel woods my whole family has gone to one concert or another there. have fun with everything that you are doing in the next few weeks

Ok...The boot looks like it is ready for a great evening. I have a formal charity event to go to on Thursday. (well, kinda formal...it is called Diamonds & Denim...Denim is required, but needs to be dressed up and made formal.) Any idea how to make this darn thing formal??? At least it's black. But I don't think I can wear it with my jeans...guess I'll be wearing a jean skirt, formal top and my boot.

I didn't get a choice either. I noticed in your second pic that yours is slightly different. Mine doesn't have devil horns, the velcro goes over just a plain hard plastic cover.

Mine is the left too. At least I can still drive. I'm not sure how I would have gotten home from Pittsburgh if it was on the right. I am still on crutches...he said I can start to put a little weight on it, but very slowly.

No crutches for me. This baby is hard plastic all around, and comes in two pieces. Got a nice rubber sole too. The truck is a 5 speed so i cant drive that but the car is automatic so I am good there.
