I think the postman tried to deliver mine today, so will hopefully get to the sorting office in the morning to pick it up.

My postie has been today and still nothing

The postman is starting to get a little worried about me though everyday I run like a kid to the door and everyday he just gives me bills so I told him today he was suppose to put a smile on my face - never seen a man run so quick - I really should think before I speak

He's probably not recovered yet from delivering Cam's get well cards and pressies.

Louise with it being Recorded delivery if there has been an attempt to post it you should receive a card to say it is waiting at the PO for collection and signature.

Hope they come soon, could do with a cheer up

Unfortunately, they don't always leave a card. This happened last time I was involved in an exchange and it was rather stressful. The whole fiasco actually put me off participating this time.

The rules of the exchange state that you don't have to send recorded, but if you don't use recorded and it goes missing then you must buy and send a replacement gift

It did arrive eventually. It was a long time coming though, as the post office didn't inform my recipient that they had attempted a delivery and that it was waiting to be picked up. I sent it via Recorded Signed For but when I tracked it online, it just said it was being processed through the system- this went on for several weeks!

I suggest that anyone waiting for their gift to arrive checks with their post office, just in case.

At the moment there are two gifts still waiting to be posted (and one of them won't be posted till the weekend), and I hope the other ones will arrive in the next few days (I'll suggest chasing these gifts up early next week)

That's right Rob, I can only suggest sending by recorded delivery, so we can chase any problems up with the Post Office, otherwise you will have to send out another present if it goes missing
