Ok we have ADR's all made and I am pretty happy with them. Now I was looking at reviews (big mistake) and I have 2nd thoughts. Mostly for CP for dinner. We always go for breakfast. Should I switch to something else in MK. It's our arrival day so it's not a big deal where we eat we just want good food in or close to MK. PS can't get into Chef Mickey's. Date is 10/4.

I've learned not to listen to reviews. There are so many places that we enjoy that are generally panned by the masses. Everyone's tastes are different. I say go with what looks good to you and have a great time.

I agree with the PP, you have to be your own food critic and don't listen to everyone else. You made the ADRs to begin with for a reason.

I too was a little skeptical about my ADRs that I made, but then I thought about it. It is something new to try, and if we don't like it, then we won't be going back again. FYI--we ate dinner at CP a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it. The food was great and the character interaction was very good. My kids had a blast with Pooh and Friends, and of course I was glad to see them too :goodvibes

To the OP - I'm glad you asked that question! I have been waffling between CP or Tony's for dinner (right now my ressies at CP) for my ds' 7 b-day. I'm a little worried that the CP characters will be too "babyish" for my kids....but I keep reading negative reviews of Tonys.:headache:

It is true to go with what you think is good, not what others say.

I figure it this way, if I like it and most reviews are negative, there will be some that like it, so I agree with them. Then at other times I may agree with those who don't like a place, yet there will be others that don't. Either way it is a 50 - 50 shot.
Chances are if you like the BK, then you will like the dinner. And who is to babyish for Winnie the Pooh, certainly not I and I turned 40 at the CP!!! :rotfl2:

If I listened to all here on the reviews I wouldn't have tried WCC or Ohana and WCC is my DH's favorite restaurant at DW. I love Ohana (not my fav) but still. And CP is one of my favs, so try it once if you don't love it don't go next time.

Don't stress, you will have a wonderful time!

We did CP for dinner in June and found the food to be good. My DN7 enjoyed Pooh, Tigger, and the rest of the characters there. We really enjoyed the meal, the waitress was a little slow on the refills but we had a good time. We've also eaten at Tony's and it was good too. IMO I'd start the trip out with the characters and a pretty good buffet. :thumbsup2
