Planning a late minute trip the week after Superbowl Feb 8-10. The main off-site hotels we look at are DoubleTree, Indigo, and Hyatt Place, and they are more expensive than I remember it being during what's supposedly an off-season week.

Checking Crowd Calendar and it's a "Hey it's alright" week, so not sure if something is going on at DLand or Anaheim that week?

It could be that prices are just going up - it is more expensive every year we come to visit and I honestly think "off season" is a term no one uses anymore which is too bad. The AP month thing was just announced though.

There is a Medical Design & Manufacturing convention the 9-11, which could cause rooms rates to go up quite a bit.

It shows 35,000 attendees and 3500 estimated rooms being booked.

We went last year and the local schools are off that Monday (which we did not know). It was PACKED (30+ minutes for the Jungle Cruise by 10AM on Monday and Tuesday)! We decided on that trip no more "off season" for us, it is just as busy with a ton of closures. We'd rather go in June and get to ride the water rides!

Super Bowl has been pretty crowded for about 10 years now. Sometimes when a local-ish team goes some people will watch, but generally it's more crowded than other Sundays. It's also starting to be prime ski week/school break time in some places.
