Right now we have two days set aside for each park for our trip in October. We are also planning on attending the MNSSHP on one of our MK days. But of course now I'm have several second thoughts...

With all the changes happening at DHS do we need two full days?

We are thinking about adding another party night on our first night which now is just a lay around day. What do you think?

And last question, does anyone know if Rivers of Lights will be up and running in October?

If I'm reading your post correctly, I would not do the party on a a day you use a MK park ticket.

You probably do not need 2 full days at HS unless you will be trying to catch a lot of characters.

Do you have hoppers? If so, I would suggest hopping to Epcot 2-3 times at night for F&W activities.

I'm hoping ROL is up in October. We are visiting then as well and I'm really excited about night touring at AK.

We do not have hoppers and are going with friends for part of the trip so our MK/party day is locked in. We have BoG dinner ADR at 4:30 for a party of 8. That is one reason we are considering a second party night. I was considering changing our second DHS to a third EP.

I would probably change your 2ns dhs to Epcot. If you feel you didn't get enough dhs time the first day you can always cancel your Epcot fp and reschedule them to dhs
