After dealing with long lines at the original Downtown Disney Starbucks location, a much needed second location has opened in the shopping and dining district. This should help reduce the wait for your favorite personalized beverages, baked goods, and other food items.

This second location is located closer to the Disneyland Hotel next to the Disney Vacation Club, near the Monorail tracks. This is good news for Disneyland Hotel guests who can now pick up their Morning Joe before they start their stroll to the parks or board that Monorail.

With two Starbucks in Downtown Disney and one in each of the parks, coffee addicts should be able to get their fix with minimal wait.

I know there are a lot of haters out there when it comes to Starbucks but I'm glad to see a second store opening. The original location had longer wait times than Peter Pan in the mornings! Hopefully this will help with the crowds.

Thanks for posting!

YAY! I'm staying at the DLH in September and now I can get my morning coffee a tiny bit earlier! LOL :)

LOL, I predicted this from the very beginning; SB's business model has them building stores kitty-corner from each other all over the world. I figured that as soon as a space opened up, they would build another! :D

FYI, not a "hater" but I think there's much better coffee out there.

Isn't there still an espresso kiosk at DLH? From memory their iced lattes were better than what sbx makes. (And I go to sbx regularly, but know that independents are often better)

Yes I believe there is a small coffee shop at the DLH. I don't do espresso drinks, i am a cold brew/iced coffee fanatic so it's Starbucks for me!!!

We visited the new location yesterday...it is teeny tiny...will be interesting to see how that place works!

We love the little coffee shop at the DLH, but lines were usually out the door. Hopefully, starbucks will take some of their business away.

For those that say " I wish they would put in a good coffee shop" what would this be? Any places to look for?

For those who aren't Starbucks fans, there are a few other choices: Haagen Dazs sells Peet's coffee, Ghirardelli's sells Peet's, and there is a CB&TL on Katella (just west of the CVS). The on site hotels and restaurants serve Joffrey's.

The best part of these DTD locations are they are "real" Starbucks which mean you can redeem your freebies there which you can't in the parks. I like to save up my freebies for vacation.

Mobile ordering is heaven sent. I would order before I left the room, stop in, and it would be ready. I had the kids keep walking, while I went in and grabbed our drinks. Very easy. I can't wait to do the same with my next trip.

I don't even drink coffee, but the mobile ordering was soooo wonderful when I was there in late June. I loved being able to order cold drinks and snacks and have them ready when I walked in- no standing in that long line.
