I went in 2014 for two weeks and it was my first time in the world since I was about 18. And whilst I had a good time for a variety of reasons it wasn't everything it should have been. So time for a do over!
I am doing it properly this time too. Well nearly, I'm not staying on site because I just can't justify it to myself, I honestly don't really feel a great need to be on property the entire time. I'm doing the airport hotel thing the night before my flight so I don't have to get up too crazy early to drive down to the airport. My flight is 11am ish. And I'm bringing out the big guns flying premium economy because it was silly cheap to upgrade. My hotel may be changing, I need to call tomorrow to see if I can switch to a condo for pretty much the same cost as the hotel I have booked.
I arrive on the 4th May for two glorious sun filled weeks (thank goodness because spring is slow to materialise in London this year). I'll be doing Disney and Universal and shopping because it would be rude not to.
I am also planning on attempting to vlog this trip. Which is somewhat terrifying because I'm a socially anxious agoraphobe (much better of late but still majorly limiting, solo tripping is actually easier in this respect for me). But I'm going to give it a fair crack because I like challenging myself.
Um, what else? Oh yea, most looking forward to pouttine (sp?) at Le Cellier and wondering if it's totally uncouth to order it when dining alone, heh.
