Second Guessing my Signature Dining Choices

Jiko is our favorite signature so far by far, and our favorite restaurant period not named Victoria and Alberts.

Thank you so much for the feedback!!! You haven't made my decision easier though. :)
I thought about Jiko - but it is just SO FAR to get to! We have Boma's on the list later on during the week - but we always go after we tour at the AK.

I think I might keep it and just look at menus to see what would I replace it with. Even if it wasn't signature.

I think I will order the surf and turf at Narcosee's - I like lobster okay. Several of the apps look yummy.

California Grill is loud - but we had such a good time last time - we want to go again. Sushi and flatbread!!! I can't wait!

Again - thank you for the feedback. My hubby thinks I am crazy pouring over the menus like this. But, then we go and we have an amazing time and amazing meals and he tells me thank you for making that happen. lol :)

We loved both Citrcos and Yachtsman :thumbsup2 When we were there in December 2008, Citricos was half full. We had a delightful server and the food was top notch.

Don't rely just on the online menus -- there are always specials!!

We are doing a split stay in September and staying 3 nights when we first arrive on Deluxe Dining. We wanted to try places we have not eaten before.
I chose Citricos, Narcosee's, Yachtman's Steakhouse and California Grill. We love CG and I am pretty sure we will love Narcosee's and YS - based on menu and reviews.

I am not sure about Citricos. A few of us are not BIG seafood lovers. We like shrimp, but I don't really like fish.

What is your favorite Signature Dining? Have you experienced Citricos? Any opinions would be great - I know my window for tweaking reservations narrows by the day. :scared1:

**Another note - we DO NOT have tickets to the parks for those 3 nights. And we are staying at Boardwalk Villas. But we are not choosing anything by that.

TIA!!!:goodvibes

:thumbsup2:thumbsup2 For Citrico's my favorite of all the Disney Restaurants.

I don't think you can go wrong with any of your restaurants choices all are very good restaurants. I think Nascoosee's has more seafood on it's menu then Citrico's.

How about Il Mulino? It is at the Swan which is right around the corner from BWV. We loved Il Mulino and I will be making ADRs again this year for it. When we stayed at BWI in 2008 it was so fun to take the boat over to Swan at night. Very romantic!:lovestruc

I really liked Citricos and I had the filet. It was delicious. I enjoyed the atmosphere and we scheduled it so we could see the fireworks from the deck there.

My favorite signature dining is Jiko. The food is outstanding and I really enjoy the atmosphere. To me it always seems more exotic than the other signature restaurants. The AKL is also a really nice resort to knock around at so if you don't have park tickets you can spend some time there.

We are going in October and my signature dining is:

Jiko
Yachtsmans
Artists Pointe
California Grill
Brown Derby
and not signature but we have to do V&A

Now that I am thinking about it I am going to change Brown Derby to Citricos! THANKS!!!

Lisa

Citricos is my favorite signature restaurant along with California Grill, and for non-seafood eaters, it's fine, it's not a very seafood heavy menu.

My DW and I are heading in November. We are trying Narcoosssee's, California Grill, Flying Fish, and Artist Point. Anybody ate at Artist Point lately?

Citricos is very good, excellent actually & I don't think it is a seafood place. Two main entree dishes - short ribs and the osso bucco (veal shank) are amazing, so 2 alts to seafood that are excellent choices. I would not miss this restaurant!!
