I have come up with my first choice restaurants, but since I doubt I'll get Le Cellier and Ohana during free dining, (and possibly others) I need to have alternate choices. This is where I'm at a loss. Here is what I have so far:

1st Choice Dinners:
Ohana
San Angel Inn
Teppan Edo
Boma
California Grill
Le Cellier
Biergarten

2nd Choice (Alternate)
Whispering Canyon

Is there something obvious that I'm missing. What other recommendations do you have? How many alternates would you suggest I have?

Well I'd have 3 or 4 alternates just in case.
Chances are you'll only need maybe 2 of em.

I'd put down Raglan Road and Jiko maybe?

I'd also add Kona or Grand Floridian Cafe as an alternate in the event that one of the 1st choices aren't available.

I'd have two alternates - one for LeCellier and one for Ohana. The rest of your choice shouldn't be too tough to get at 90 out, even durng free dining.

Whispering Canyon is a good back-up for Ohana, since they're both in the MK area. For LeCellier, I'd suggest Tutto Italia for another good World Showcase option.

We really enjoyed Kona. It is across the lobby from Ohana so it would be a good back up.

Ya know it's funny. I ask this question, get your feedback and then start wondering if some of your suggestions should be on my 1st choice list!

Looking forward to looking at menus and reading reviews of my updated second choice list:

Kona Cafe (my son will dig the Kona Cone dessert)
Whispering Canyon
Raglan Road (a friend also recommended this place)
Grand Floridian (I know nothing about this place)
Tutto Italia (I've read good things!)
Wish I could do Jiko, but isn't it a 2 TS meal?

I'm also reading conflicting reviews on California Grill. Is it worth 2 TS?

Yes, Jiko is a signature restaurant so it is 2 TS. CA Grill is also 2 TS and we think it is worth it. We've gone there almost every trip and have always had great service and great food. We also try and time our dinner so we can catch Wishes out on the observation deck after we eat.

When I'm planning our ADRs I usually have my first choices and then a backup for each day (or I'm flexible on the days). That said, I think you have created a good list of 2nd choices. FWIW, we did not enjoy Raglan Road. It was highly recommended by many people, but no one in our party of 6 adults and 1 child liked the food which I found a bit odd since most of us enjoy all kinds of food and not very picky.

I don't know if I would take little kids to a signature meal, would they appreciate it? I know my kiddo would rather have a big dancing mouse and a bowl of mac and cheese lol

Oh, I should have clarified...California Grill will be a date meal meal for hubby and me...no kids.

I would also recommend considering Restaurant Marrakesh - it's fairly easy to get into and has great food and fantastic entertainment all for 1 TS credit!

Tell me more about Marrakesh...what kind of food...and entertainment. I have seen the name a lot, but I don't know anything about it. Kid friendly menu?
