Have tried to search for details of this service but not much info out there :confused3

Has anyone got any experience of Mears to Seaworld and then the free shuttle to Busch? Please tell me all! What time is the first shuttle? How do you book it? How often do they run? What time is the last shuttle?

We are staying at POFQ.

Have bought our Discovery Cove Tickets, the ones with Seaworld, Aquatica and Busch. DC works out about £300 this way! Got US and IoA as well! Too many parks not enough days!

DH and I went to Busch way back in 1999. Got Mears transport directly there.

Would love to go back but DH refuses to drive in USA.

Will this be too much faffing about, DH not budging on the driving :sad2: That would make it sooooo easy!

Or should we just miss it out and just go to Seaworld and Aquatica?

Our experience of the shuttle was not a good one. Its an early start.First we got a cab to Sea world. We were supposed to leave at 9.15 but the driver was chatting to one of the other drivers:rolleyes:We finally left at 9.45 Once on our way the journey itself was fine. I think it was about 90 minutes, but i cant remember exactly. When we left the driver said we would be leaving a 5pm. We got back to the bus at 4.45 just to be on the safe side, we were sat on the bus for an hour waiting for the last couple, in the end it took one of the passangers to say can we go for him to finally close the doors, but before that he set the video up to play a film on the way home, well, it was like a scene from a comedy, he was bashing it with his fist, cursing it in spanish because it wouldnt work, this went on for about 10 minutes, by which time DS 8 was already fidgity. In the end he got it working all be it VERY jumpy.6pm we finally set off. It was along ride home i think we got back to Sea World at about 8ish, then had to get in a cab back to Pop Century. We were all very tierd and fed up by the time we got back, but happy to be back in Disney. We swore NEVER again. I would rather hire a car for the day, or even hire a cab than go through that again.Sorry its so negative, i do usually look for all the positives but i cant think of any, even taking into account it was free:sad2:

I think this post says it all about the shuttle.

Thanks for feedback. If I remember way back to 1999, Shuttle from Universal to Busch was similar. Late to leave, long time travelling. Not the best for the return journey.

Think I'm going to have to work hard to persuade DH car rental is the best option!

We used the shuttle in 07 and it was fine! It collected us from our hotel - we didn't have to go to sea world. I thought that it did stop at some Disney hotels? :confused3
I thought that the only stipulation to use the shuttle was that you either had a 6 park flex ticket or a BG/SW ticket with the transport option. Last time i think i booked it on the BG website from here in the UK.

Hope it all works out for you

Claire

We looked into using the shuttle on our first trip, but decided to drive after we found that it was scheduled to arrive at Busch Gardens about 1 hour after the park opened and to leave about 2 hours before it closed (and the park hours weren't particularily long anyway as it was a weekday). Maybe it has changed for the better since, but we felt that if it was worth making a trip to BG, then it was worth giving it a full park day and not just a couple of hours.

I got the Busch shuttle from Universal last year, it was fine, took just over an hour I think.

We used the shuttle in 2008 when stayimg at HRH. We had a multipark ticket so the shuttle was free and reserved seats before leaving the uk. We stayed at HRH for 4 nights and took the shuttle from Universal. I think it left at about 8:30 and made a pick up elsewhere before headint o BG.

Got to BG about 10.20 and the drive told us what time to be ready for pick up (cannot remember what time this was but think it was 18:30 or 19:00
We boarded ok and left on time. Weather turned really bad on way back and got back to universal about 21:00.

Worked well for us and is a great park even if, like us, you don't do big rides.
