Have tried to search for details of this service but not much info out there :confused3

Has anyone got any experience of Mears to Seaworld and then the free shuttle to Busch? Please tell me all! What time is the first shuttle? How do you book it? How often do they run? What time is the last shuttle? Can you just get a round trip with Mears from POFQ to Busch? Any idea on cost?

We are staying at POFQ.

Have bought our Discovery Cove Tickets, the ones with Seaworld, Aquatica and Busch. DC works out about £300 GBP this way! Got US and IoA as well! Too many parks not enough days!

DH and I went to Busch way back in 1999. Got Mears transport directly there.

Would love to go back but DH refuses to drive in USA, esp at Busch all that lovely amber liquid to sample!

Will this be too much faffing about, DH not budging on the driving :sad2: That would make it sooooo easy!

Or should we just miss it out and just go to Seaworld and Aquatica?

https://secure.mearstransportation.com/MearsExpress/BuschGardens.asp I'd take a taxi to the nearest pickup point.

Annheiser Busch sold the theme parks. The theme parks no longer offer complimentary beer or Beer School. Even the Clydesdales are gone.

A rental car will give you more flexibility. It will get you to the park earlier.

Bus works if you don't want to drive.

edited to add I'd consider staying at one of the hotels near Sea World for a couple of nights. You're going to Aquatica, SW, DC and maybe Busch Gardens. Much easier if you can walk or take a hotel shuttle

Thanks Lewisc. Great heads up on no beer school. I'm going to use that to try and persuade DH in driving in USA!

Already doing a split stay. HRH then POFQ.

Think I'm just going to have to work hard and persuade other half driving would be so much easier!

It sounds like you have a really busy trip planned.

One year we had a Busch pass and got into all the parks for a year, so we did all of them except Discovery Cover (DD was under 2) I highly recommend NOT going to Busch Gardens in Tampa. It does not compare to US or any of the Disney parks. Save the day and money from the bus to enjoy a few beers someplace in Epcot. It just isn't worth the whole day away from Orlando and all it has to offer. We have relatives in Tampa and still ony felt the need to do Busch 1x.

I like the split stay you have planned= that would be my dream trip.

Depends on your interests. Busch Gardens has a better variety of roller coasters then even IOA. No interest in roller coasters? Save the trip.

I agree with the PP. EPCOT offers better drinking then Busch Gardens.

Driving in the US is WAY easier than driving in Scotland, or so I believe...However, family always tells us when we go to Scotland that they hate driving here because of our fast paced lifestyles, bigger cars, and faster highways.

However, driving on the M5 though, I nearly peed my pants. And then those back single lane roads on the mountains in Skye when a car is coming at you? This doesn't happen on our roads. And hey - we don't have sheep lounging on our roads either.
