Can anyone help.i can find show times but not ride opening times.i know they dont all open at 9am.interested in the Kraken,mantra journey to alt,mako and the antarctica empire of penguins.. its for the summer aug.thanks

Our last few visits, both Kraken and Journey to Atlantis opened one hour after the park did (while the park itself opened at 9 am, those particular rides did not open until 10 am).

Manta was accepting riders right at park opening.

Mako is new since our last visit, but due to its popularity, I would guess it too would be running at park opening.

I have no idea about Antarctica, as we always do that later in the morning with our Quick Queue passes. Hopefully someone else will chime in!

Mako has been opening at park open times.

If you have been in the park before - upon park open there was a rope right by Spice Mill that prevented from moving into the back half of the park (the bridge going over to Shamu Stadium was also blocked off). That rope is now moved back past Nautilus so that Mako can open right away.

No promises on if it will stay that way.

When we went last summer, Antarctica was open earlier than Kraken. It was our first time there and we didn't know there were different opening times, we rode Manta then thought we would go to Kraken only to discover it was not open yet. We did Antarctica to take up the time and when we were done checking out the penguins Kraken was open, we got off Kraken and went right to Journey.
