We did this about 5 years ago. It was very informative but you don't get long with the Penguins. From what i remember it was two fingers and a quick stroke down the penguins back and on to the next.

When we did it (Jan 2005) I think it was $10 per person. We went on the tour to see the Polar Bears, but seeing the penguins up close was ace. They are funny little things. We also got to see a number of very nosey seals and sealions on our tour too.
