Seaworld on Halloween/crowds/events???

We will be visiting US/IOA Seaworld and Aquatica at the end of Oct for the first time (went to Seaworld once about 7 years ago)

We were thinking about visiting SeaWorld on Halloween (Fri) Getting there early and staying until park closing???
How crowded do you think the park will be? More crowded than usual for that time of year?
Our children will be 10 &12, will there be any special things going on for Halloween? Trick or Treating?
Horror Nights is not an option for us, so we are trying to find something to do for Halloween.

We had a great time last year at seaworld and were there for the halloween celebrations. They had a part of the park just for trick or treat, childrens entertainers, stalls, everyone dressed up. You just went to each booth and said trick or treat and they gave you sweets. There were four of us and we all had a bag full. We were munching for days. It was a day to remember and as I remember it was only on at the weekend. I would check this. You will just love the atmosphere.

I didn't answer you question. No its not that crowded because they have made one part of the park just for trick or treating and halloween. Your children will really like it. All of the party are given a bag on entrance. This was a lovely day out for us. I preferred this to the disney day, although this was in the evening only. Seaworld is all day. Also at disney they give you a map and I'm hopeless at mapreading so we ended up just walking around to find the trick or treat stands unlike sunworld where the stalls and activities were all in one place. hope this helps. if you need any more information please ask.

We plan on spending a day a Sea World (I think) I think we will get there in the morning and spend the day there then once the trick or treating starts head over to that area and let the kids do that.

Still trying to figure out what we will be doing, we might just go to Sea World another day and head over there in the evening for the trick or treating.
Can't decide.
