My kids are not all day park kind of kids. We are going to Discovery Cove on the day after Thanksgiving for the first time. On Saturday, I was planning on letting them chill during the day and then go to SeaWorld around 3 or 4 pm and stay until close just for the Christmas stuff. I was planning on purchasing the seating package for that Saturday because I assume it will be busy being the weekend after Thanksgiving. Our main focus for that Saturday would be just the Christmas shows and soaking up all the Christmas fun! We plan on going back to SeaWorld on the 28th for the rides (no roller coasters because my son has a heart condition) and the other exhibits and shows during the day. We are going to the Disney Christmas party on Sunday so the weekend will be our Christmas overload!! LOL! Do you think it will work out to break up SeaWorld this way and still see/do a lot? We have never been to Sea World or Discovery Cove. Is there other "Christmas" stuff during the day or just at night? I want to make sure I allow us enough time. Thanks!!

All of the Christmas stuff is in the evening. Getting the reserved seating will definitely help

That sounds like a good plan to me! We are central Floridians with Sea World annual passes and have had Disney passes in the past.

Put on some running shoes cause to see all the Christmas Shows in one evening is doable but you gotta hurry!.

We had a similar schedule last year (SW on wed before thanksgiving, DC fri after thanksgiving, SW on sat)
We saw all the shows except Elmo - by choice, no one wanted to see it.

What are the best, not-to-be-missed of the Christmas shows? We will probably skip Elmo. DD will be 12 and is over Elmo! But how would you suggest we prioritize the shows?

I haven't seen Sesame Street or the ice skating show (...yet. I may try to see them this year). But I absolutely love Miracles, Countdown to Christmas, and O Wondrous Night! All 3 are must-sees to me, and I've seen them multiple times

I’ve seen all but the Elmo show.

My must sees are the skating show, shamu, and o wondrous night.

I’m not a fan at all of the normal shamu show but really like the Christmas show.

If visiting the sat or Sunday after Thanksgiving, would you say the VIP seating is the way to go?

Just 2 adults but I'm a slowpoke lol

It definitely wouldn't hurt (because I'm sure it will be busier than other weekends)

O'Wondrous night is their best, most popular show and not to be missed, then the ice skating show which is beautiful, also a must see in my opinion.Sea World is also one of the nicest parks to see Christmas lights and decorations, totally amazing at night.

Do you know if there are special game tickets like they have for Halloween? We're going this Sunday but the kid have school Monday. We will probably only hit one (maybe two) shows before we have to head back home but I was wondering what else was Christmasy during the day...

Unfortunately most of the holiday stuff takes place at night (with the exception of the Sesame Street show). During the day is the regular sea lion and whale shows

Yep. The earliest show is 515 (Clyde and Seamore Countdown to Christmas, which btw is a fun show)

There is also the meet and greet Rudolph area, lots of Christmas-y stuff over there even if you don't do the meet/greet. And of course once it gets a little darker out the boardwalk across the lake is nice with all the Christmas trees/lights
