Seaworld in the evening

We've been to Seaworld a couple of times, but never in the evening. Considering going to see Shamu Rocks. What is the park like in the evening? Will it be really busy? How early would we need to arrive for show?

Hope someone answers as this is just the question I was going to pose. There are a number of shows in the evening I want to see, Seaworld are a bit slow in keeping their site up to date. Don't they know we have planning to do!

Yeah, hoping that the published show-times help us plan our day better too. I've not seen these before (haven't been to Seaworld for 3 years).

Certainly the last time I was there, they run a show with Clyde and Seamore as the last show of the day and it's fab - takes the Mickey out of Kraken, Believe, Blue Horizon and so on...well worth checking out. Plus with Manta and Kraken you'll have plenty of riding to do!

We did the evening at seaworld and saw shamu rocks, in 2006 or it could have been 2003, can't remember it much to be honest. All i remember is watching the fireworks on the bridge which was great - it wasn't that busy (October) and the parking was free which was a nice change. Like other shows in the day time i would get there in plenty of time for a good view.

These evening shows tend to operate seasonally. 'Shamu Rocks' was on over Easter, but only for a few nights. We didn't get to see it on our recent holiday. The first time we were there we were too tired to stay to watch it. The next week (last week) it was no longer on.

Crowds are usually lower on an evening, the park is lovely to walk around. We usually do Sea World in the afternoon or early evening and catch the evening shows which we much prefer.

The Clyde and Seymour Show in the evening is very funny especially the first time you see it as it does take the mickey out of all the other shows. We also much prefer the Shamu Rocks show, none of the cheesiness of the earlier shows, plenty of rock music and whales strutting their stuff.:)

We never arrive early for shows and have always managed to get seats at all of the shows at Sea World in July. The only show we deliberately try to get in a bit earlier to is the daytime Seymour show just so we can get seated before the mime artist can pick on us.

i love seaworld at night, crowds are a lot lighter and shows are good. shamu rocks:thumbsup2 clyde and seymour:thumbsup2. i think seaworld is really pretty at night and theres a little ride;) called kraken which is fab at night!

I have to agree. 'Believe' is far and away too cheesy for me.

We always go early to 'Clyde and Seymour' too. We just love the mime artist. Makes us laugh more then the show does.

Do they do a cut price late entry ticket, I seem to think that years ago they did for after 4pm

We've been on a number of occasions in August when Shamu Rocks and Sealions Tonight are on. We have usually got to the stadiums about 20 minutes before show start time with no problems getting a seat.

What we have also found is that if you can return for another evening, there are virtually no queues for Kraken or Atlantis - last August, we spent two hours riding both of them almost continuously.

Ive never really considered going there in the eve but after reading this I think we might, I love the Clyde and Seymour show so would like to see the eve one :goodvibes

Thanks for all the help guys:grouphug:, thought if we did a couple of shows in the evening more time for Kraken, Atlantis and Manta:cool1:
