Has anyone visited in November? What's the crowds like? Any tips?

Crowds in November before Thanksgiving are non existent. The park is dead in November. If you go on weekends after Thanksgiving, it will be more crowded, but you will get to see all of SeaWorld's special Christmas shows, decorations and events.

We are planning on going Nov 22nd. This is the first day of the Christmas shows and such. Any thoughts on if this day would be excessively crowded?

I was there around that time last year. I don't know if its more crowded the first day of the Xmas shows but it was manageable when we were there. It was crowded but my kids rode all the rides they wanted. I don't think they waited more than 15 minutes for manga. The penguins line was long at times but nothing I would have considered long. I think I have waited in grocery lines longer!

Xmas there? Awesome!!!! It was the best thing we did. All of my family thought it was fantastic. We walked on polar express. It was so magical! If you haven't been during that season before....just wait.

We ate at the shark restaurant..I made reservations the night before and the lady found me one.

good thread! We will be there probably Nov 17, 19 or 20th - is beginning of the week better than later in the week? Is a quick queue needed during this time of year do you think? My daughter and I for sure want to hit Manta and Kranken and a couple other rides. Thanks - figured i'd ask since this thread was already about November instead of making a new one.
