Seaworld in December

I am thinking of adding one day at Seaworld to our December trip. We have never been there --DH, me DD6 & DS4.

What are the park hours in Dec?

Can we do the park in one day?

What are the must dos?

Besides Kraken -- what is NOT good for the kids?

Do they have evening events?

I took DD7 and myself last year in December. I believe they were open from 9 am until 6pm. We didn't do Kraken or any rides actually. We did a couple behind the scenes tours: Predators tour and Penguin Tour, we both enjoyed them. The predator's tour takes you behind the Shamu stadium where the Orcas hang out and then you go to the back of the Shark Encounter. We also had dinner with Shamu, a bit pricey, but the food was good and there is nothing like having Orcas so close by. There wasn't a Shamu show while we were there, one of the whales had recently had a baby. Yes, you can do it in a day. We fed stingrays and dolphins. The park was decorated for Christmas. Have a great time. We will be there again this December.
