Never seen them. Where is the best viewing spots?

I believe the best area is down along the waterfront.

There were no fireworks last week...I don't know if it's just a seasonal thing, ie, only in the summer.

They had fireworks when we were there the last week of February. They were not held every night, but they did have them, I believe on the Friday and Saturday that we went over to the parks. And that was definitely a slow time, and very cold, so I am not sure how they decide when to hold them and when not too. That was the week after Presidents' week.
