we are planning 1 day at seaworld - either Sunday Dec 6 or Friday Dec 11. Would there be a big difference in crowds on the two days?

Sunday normally feels less busy to me than Friday does, but not sure enough to make a difference.

If you look at the Christmas reserved show seating calendar, both of those days are red days, meaning they both have the lowest priced reserved seating. Because of that I would say the park is planning on both days being about equal,

I think Sunday is alot better day for you to go because locals who have kids in school will be less likely to be there at night. I think also in the weekly travel cycle if people are doing Disney or Universal and Sea World they might do those first and end the week at Sea World making Friday busier.

Great! I had planned it Friday originally but thought maybe Sunday would work better for my plans to spread out our later evenings.

Thanks!!

I believe most of the Christmas shows at SW are only on weekends.

The Christmas shows are on Friday / Saturday / Sunday until December 21 and then they are daily for the rest of the year. However, some of the shows (I am thinking of OWN in particular) will stop after Christmas.
