Hi all, i am looking for some advice please. Last year i purchased 4 seaworld annual passes using the monthly ezi pay method and im wondering when they expire. We started paying for them in june 09 and didnt go to the park and exchange our paperwork for the passes until mid september 09. On the website when i input my pass number it states they dont expire until mid september 10 but i have been told and read on another forum that the ezi pay passes expire a year after you start paying for them.
Anyone any ideas ?
Im going back to florida in august 10 and would love to visit seaworld again and dont want to buy another pass if this one is still valid.

Many thanks
scott.

I started paying for mine in January but didn't get over until February so I think they would expire when you started paying for them...that's my guess anyway. You might want to call or email SW and see what the official answer is.

If the website says it's Sept, that's what I would go on. Call SW, or send them an email to verify if you want.

If you first used them in Sept., SW will have a record of that.

A few years back when I cancelled our AP after the first year, I didn't call them right away and a few months had passed (with monthly payments continuing). They were able to check the activity on my passes and verify that I hadn't used it since the anniversary date. They creditted me back the monthly amounts I had already paid. I actually did this 2 different years.

FYI-Which reminds me, if you don't cancel your AP, they will continue to debit your account for the monthly fee.

once the initial contract is up, you're placed on month to month basis. So there's a lot of people here with passes that are extremely cheap because of how long ago they purchased them.

When I walk through the turnstiles, it says my pass is good till 4/28... and march's payment hasn't even been processed. As long as you don't cancel the EZ pay plan, then you don't have to worry about not having tickets. And if you want to, once your trip is over, go to the passport member office (to the left of the ticket booths) and cancel the passes.

Do you mean they continue at the original purchase price each month? Wow! If so, that would be a good deal.

Well central Florida to be a little more precise. Tampa isn't that far away from here.

Sea World
Aquatica
Busch Gardens
Adventure Islands

That is correct, after they expire you pay them monthly without a contract.I've been paying $12 a month since like 2002 for my Platinum pass which includes both Busch parks, all three Sea Worlds, the waterparks in Tampa and Virginia and even Sesame Place in PA.The only ones I can't go to are obviously Discovery Cove and Aquatica. When Aquatica opened I would have needed to upgrade my pass to include it,so goodbye to $12 month and hello $17 something.Since I'm not a local my visits to the waterparks are less frequent so I kept it at $12 and will pay the entrance when I go to Aquatica. If I lived within an hour or so I most certainly would upgrade it for Aquatica.

If you can make a Williamsburg trip to get passes they are less expensive and include Aquatica. It is a bit of a pain but for us, we still have the $12 price. We got our Plat. passes when we lived in DC and visited BGW a couple of time a year but have used them in FL since we have moved to AL.

met a mom last year while in Orlando, both our girls attended the seaworld camp. According to her, BGW sent her the passes in mail.
