Seaworld and Natural History Museum

Hi!

I believe I have narrowed down the San Diego portion of our DLR/San Diego/Beach vacation down to a day at Seaworld and a visit to the Natural History Museum.

We are going in April and as of yet, I have been unable to find any 'significant' discounts on the Seaworld portion (hoping for one like the buy adult get child free like last year). Searching around it looks like the local Entertainment book has some sort of Natural History Museum coupon in it. If anyone has that book - can you tell me what exactly the coupon is and if there are any restrictions?

I'm trying to decide of I should buy that book and if it would be worth it or if that is a type of coupon I could just get somewhere else for free.

Any thoughts or ideas for another place to find discounts to those places?

Have you tried looking for coupons on the san diego visitor's website. Not sure of the exact title but you know how most cities have a visitor's section on their websites. They often have coupons there.

When we went to sea world 2 summers ago we got in for the kid's price plus we got 2 days for the price of one. You could pick between that deal or paying full price but getting a pass to come back the rest of the year. I noticed they had a similar deal last summer.

Are you AAA members? They discount the SD museums pretty much all the time. The museums in Balboa park are kind of small - you may have time for more than 1. The Ruben H. Fleet Science museum is fun - lots of interactive displays. And the park is beautiful to stroll around. The Museum of Flight is cool too - I think that's where they had a reproduction of a Wright Bros plane you could simulate flight in.
