Hi there. I'm in the Portland area. I know of at least one other on here who is fairly active on the boards in Oregon. I think it might be fun to get a bunch from the PNW together.

Ha! That is so true! I spent the last 6.5 years out in PA and anytime I said I was from Washington people assumed it was DC. Totally wigged me out. I ended up just saying "Seattle" like it was a state. Felt so dirty...

I met people from Spokane who didn't know there was a Vancouver in WA. Weird!

Okay, that is just plain sad. How could you not know???? The only explanation is not living in the area long I guess, or simply never leaving home. Craziness!

That is just sad. I keep getting asked when I'm in the NE part of the country if we got indoor plumbing yet or have we had any Indian attacks lately.

I just tell them the plumbing gets installed Tuesday. We haven't had any Indian attacks in a long time. I think it's been about a week now....

Dude, here in Renton there was an Indian attack just the other night. It came in the form of some wild teenagers drinking on the trail next to our house. They weren't actually Indians, they weren't on horses and didn't carry bows and arrows....in fact they were simply drunk, high, and loud. Hmmmm....maybe that wasn't an actual attack?

Now i'm confused....

I'd say let's set up a meet when it stops raining, but we all know that won't be until July 5th at the earliest. I'm sure we can find a time and place for a get together or two.

Ok, Salem, Portland and the metro area. We'll take the 'Couv on our team and anyone north of the 'Couv can be on the other team. "Let the game of Red Rover commence!" Oh wait.....

Woo hoo! I'm so glad to see more people joined in! I agree, let's wait for it to dry up a bit. I think July may be good timing if everyone is in.

Does everyone agree Vancouver would be a good spot? If not we can come up with a different plan.
