seattle flights to mco

we are thinking about buying 1 way tickets to disneyworld next christmas. i know...christmas 2011. but im a planner!

so southwest has 1 way tickets from sea to mco for about $133 around the 14/15/16 but mco to sea on the 27/28/29 is over $200.

is that the average price for a between christmas and new years flight?

SW only has fares out now to March 2011, so I don't know how you're seeing Dec 2011

I would think that those are good prices.

I go in October. I don't recall what the prices were this year, but a roundtrip flight was over $250. That's what I paid for a direct flight with Delta from SEA. AirTran and Southwest were more money and they weren't direct flights. I would have taken a southwest flight home if it was cheaper, but it wasn't-even when I added in the baggage fees for Delta.

I paid about $50 per person more than the previous year. This will be the first year I have been on a direct flight to MCO.

I've flown SW last August, RT was $275ish. We fly in Aug, and late Jan and have flown SW, Continental. Delta, American & United. Fares have ranged from $250 - $325 RT incl tax. Haven't been lucky enough to score a non-stop yet! Alaska is starting to fly out of Bellingham, so I hope they will expand service to Florida from there.

We paid $220-ish per person (including taxes and fees) for round trip direct flights (Alaska Airlines) from Seattle to Orlando in early December 2008.

If I remember correctly, if we were willing to accept connecting flights on another airline, we could have saved less than $50 per person. (IMO, not worth it. Especially since we collect Alaska Airlines points.)
