seating tips for Lights, motor,action?

I know the best seat is not at this show,lol, however my 5 y/o ds keeps asking to go see it so I will need to plan it in for our next trip. What is the deal with the seating? Is there any shade at all? I guess the best time is early am or evening? Any tips to make this any less painful I would appreciate.

Best thing is to show up early and get a seat high up in the stands. Where the cover will guarantee you shade.

Go early and be one of the first people in the area so you can pick the seat you want. The further back in the crowd you are you don't have much of a choice where you sit.
