Seating quantities at restaurants?

Are tables at Disney restaurants configured to sit 7 people together or does it go something like tables for 2, then 4 then 6 and so on? So my question is would we be able to sit 7 people at one table at most places?

seating generally run in "even" numbers 4-6-8.

A party of 7 would likely be seated at a table top for 8, or broken up into 2 4tops.

We have done a few large party vacations (group of 11 and then a group of 17).

Almost every place will seat you together. A smaller group of 7 should have no problem being seated together anywhere at WDW.
