Seating position on HP&the Forbidden Journey

Hi there,

I'm headed to IoA in a few weeks and I'm excited to go on the new HP ride. The problem is I don't do well with spiders/having things jump out at me. A few threads have mentioned that the seats on the left are the worst for getting shocks, whilst the ones on the right are worse for the motion. I have no problem whatsoever with motion, and I'd really prefer that to being the closest on to Aragog, but I can't work out which seats they are referring to. So, can anyone shed some light on whether it is the far left seat as you face the bench, or the left as you are sitting in the seats, that is the worst?

Any help would be really appreciated.

I don't notice a huge difference with any of the seats. Since the seat on your further right as you are looking at it goes to everything first, maybe it would be the least scary? Everything is pretty much in your face on FJ.

This. There is no difference in any of the four seats that I've noticed.

I rode it three or four times last year, and sat in different seats within the car and didnt really notice much difference to be honest.
i dont think it's that bad for things jumping out at you as far as i can remember
and if the spider bit bothers you that much, close your eyes for a few seconds and it'll all be over.
i REALLY dont like spiders at all, but it didnt bother me

it's an amazing ride, so dont worry about it and just enjoy it

Agree - rode it in different seats didn't matter.

The only thing I notice is that the dragon is more in your face breathing steam/fog directly at you if you are in the left seat, as you face the seats getting on (far right seat once you are sitting in other words) than when you are in the other three seats. As far as the spiders and dementors they're about the same no matter where you are sitting.

Agreed, I haven't noticed a difference with the spiders distance, though it seems like I got more spray on the far right as you are looking at the seats (far left sitting)?
