Advise pls - we are flying next March with Virgin...I know the seats are 3/4/3 but we are 2 adults and 3 children travelling...age (they will be) 6, 3 days off being 4 and 2 - so not sure how we should do the seating...!!??!! I guess a 3 (i.e from the window) then 2 from the middle section??? anyone else travelled with 5 - what did you do???

Also when can I prebook seats?? is it 180 days before you fly or can I do it now???

cheers
Nat

Yes its 336 days from the return flight. You could always get seats near the back and get the last row of three by the window and then the first row of two immediately behind.

Claire ;)

Sorry can't help with pre-booking

As a faimly of 5 we did 3 by window & 2 across the aisle , with an aisle seat. Worked fine for us

When we have flown; albeit not to Orlando, we have 3 in front with window and 2 behind also at window.
We find it much easier to pass things between us, rather than across aisle :)

That's what we have found too when we've travelled with my mum and nephew to Portugal. A 3 and a 2 behind has worked best for us.

We're a family of 5 and when our children were young enough to travel with us we always had 3 with 2 behind or in front. It worked really well.

Being a family of five, the seating arrangements in PE are a little frustrating on the upper deck MCO route. It's rows of 2 x 2 so Usually DH has to sit by himself across the isle!

Yes - it's such a long way across the aisle! Anyway, it's that or deal with children......and I know which one he prefers!

If you dont mind sitting at the back of the plane there are a few rows of 2 on either side by the windows.

You could go for the last row of 3 and the first row of 2 - I think these are good seats as you also get a bit of space down the side.

Hi there,

If you are travelling Virgin them try this link. This site is excellent, the link I have posted is for the a/c seating plan although there's much more.

We are a family of 5 - 2 adults and kids 14, 8 & 4.

We normally find it best to have one row of 3 beside a window with 2 behind/in front, also at the window. Has always worked fine and means that we are not talking across the aisles.

we also did this, and put dh by the stranger, as he will talk to anyone!! :teeth:

thanks for all your replies - I have looked at the plane layout and I think we will try and go for the back of the plane - rows 60 +61 (3 +2) if not try for bluk head and next to each other....

cheers

Not wishing to complicate things any further but by sitting at the back it usually takes a lot longer to get through the immigration queue.

I know what you mean! We have booked the last rows (2 seats of 2 abreast) and this is one of my concerns. Still, I figured our luggage is never there when we get through immigration anyway so we may as well wait that side as round the carousels :teeth:
