Seating for Treats and Seats Fireworks Dessert Party

I know the Post FW group comes in after FW and gets to stay until @ 10 or so. My understanding is that everyone shares the same food/ drink bars, so since T&S folks sit outside and FW folks sit inside....

Treats and Seats guests are seated in a completely separate area than the pre- and post-FW party guests. Treats and Seats guests are seated on the lower level of Tomorrowland Terrace and have their own buffet/beverage stations. Pre- and Post-Fireworks guests are seated on the upper level of the terrace and have a separate buffet. Treats and Seats guests will not have access to the food/beverages put out for the post-FW guests. The areas are separated by a walkway and both areas are monitored by CMs - unless you have a post-FW wristband to access the upper level of the terrace, they won't let you in.

I've done the seated party several times and the phone CM is correct. The seated party is over when the fireworks are over. Maybe you can grab one last drink if they are still out? In my experience, they stop replenishing the buffet when the fireworks start and they are pretty much closing up shop at the end of the fireworks. You could probably stay on the terrace longer, but they won't keep food or beverages out much past the end of the fireworks. If you are hoping that the food and drinks will keep flowing after the fireworks end, I think you will be sorely disappointed.

The T&S people are in a totally separate area from the post party people. They do not share the same food/drink bars.

We arrived just after 6pm, they started seating people at 6:30. That was for 8pm fireworks.

I didn't see any tables for 5+ along the rail, but the next row of tables really aren't bad either.

Thank you. We have never seen the fireworks. My husband is a combat vet and can’t do the crowds (fireworks don’t bother him, just crowds).

With mixed reviews of the garden view being crowded I was thinking treats & seats might work. Maybe I could book us as a party of 2 and a party of 3 hoping at least one group gets the rail? We could let the kids sit the best table so they can see.

I saw a review with pics of the view from some of the back tables and it was pretty obstructed. I did see one larger table that seemed to have a good view. I don’t think that would bother me if we’d seen them before, but it would be disappointing if we couldn’t see half the fireworks during our only chance.

Any advice is appreciated. We went 5 years ago and we did Pirates and Pals to see fireworks. That was fun and worth it for the experience but the view wasn’t good. The top of the boat blocked the view. It was our favorite character interaction at the end though. Peter Pan managed to get my husband interacting with him and even made him laugh.

We did this with a party of 6 on Feb 22. I used mouse watcher to find the reservation, it was sold out initially. I wanted the 22nd but that never opened up that I saw. We got there 1 hr before the fireworks, at 7:00. We were seated along the edge pretty much in the middle. They carried a sign that said reserved with them as they seated us, and put it on the table then. The food and drinks were being put away just before the fireworks started; during them you could have grabbed some stuff but not everything and I doubt you could get alcohol but didn’t check. After the fireworks ended there were a few leftover food items that were consolidated and put in the center of the buffet that you could have taken . We were not rushed out or told to leave. We went to the bathroom, then just hung out for maybe 10-15 min. Initially you couldn’t even see ground in the hub, after 10-15 min it was decently cleared out. We left then, I think there was only one group after us. But they didn’t seem to be pushing anyone out or saying you had to leave. As for the view, it was off center and there was a tree that blocked a decent part of the bottom of the castle. However, to me it was worth being able to sit and eat and not have to stress about getting a spot in the garden. That area looked packed when we passed on the 22nd. If I did the pre-party I would be too anxious watching the garden fill up and not be able to enjoy the desserts. the after would be better, but we would have spent an hour before sitting in the spot in the garden, so it would take a lot more time. I felt the view trade off was worth it; it seems that most people don’t agree!

FWIW I didn’t really like the food and drink selection. The only non sweets were cheese and fruit. No coke products. So not terrible, but not my favorite. Even before COVID I found the MK dessert parties to have my least favorite selections, but now it’s worse. We book mainly for the guaranteed spot, and the desserts are just nice to have also.

Another alternative is the ferrytale fireworks cruise (view is further back but great; you can also line up at the train station, but that’s obstructed as well).

We did the after party and entered 20 mins before fireworks (we ate right before so we were there for the view.) It’s actually better to be further back vs up against the front rails (shrubs block view). You can see the projections clearly from the reserved standing area (the best part.) The place was packed vs what you see in the link below and we had trouble getting a spot with a stroller. The concrete walkway was kept clear until 5 mins before fireworks but no one guided us to where we could stand, but a CM routinely came to get everyone off the walkway.

No. When we attended the After Party the reserved area was pretty crowded but not nearly as packed as the hub.

They wouldn’t let our Joovy caboose ultralight in with our almost 2 year old (sleeping) in the dessert area. The CM letting people into the buffet area was loud and pretended not to understand that we had a sleeping 2 year old (she slept through fireworks) and said, yes you can park it over there, and then yes we can take the stroller for you; it woke our DD up and then it was hard to calm her back down. I was pretty surprised as there was a lot of open space where we could have parked our stroller next to our table. The service was pretty bad and we had to flag someone for an allergy plate and it took them several minutes to come to our table and then another 15-20 to get the plate.

You can take the stroller in for the plaza garden viewing area (not the buffet).

She got up and was upset. At Disneyworld ADRs allow strollers in if a child is sleeping.
