Does anyone know if a party of nine would be seated together at one large table for dinner at the following restaurants? Thanks for any info! :teeth:

Teppanyaki
LeCellier
Crystal Palace
OHana
Chef Mickey's

Our party of 16 was sat at one table at Chef mickeys. Ended up canceling O'hana's but was told we'd sit together. Havn't tried the others with a large group. Susan

I think it depends on the time of your ADR. I made ADR's for up to 13 and was told- at this time we can get you at one table, at this time it would be two, etc. I figured it's how many are booked at the restaurant.

We always have had about 11 ppl or higher and normally are at the same table. If we are not we are right next to each other. I know Crystal Palace we were alls eated together.

My family has had a table for 9 people at Chef Mickey's, O'Hana, and Crystal Palace. I agree that it does depend on when you are trying to get your ADR, because I have called for reservations before and I was told that I could get a particular time if we split into two groups. But you definetely can sit that many together if it is available.

It depends on the types of table, too. At Hollywood & Vine in MGM we were seated together - we had a party of 17! They just joined up tables to accomodate us. As this was a character buffet breakfast at the time, we just had one server between us bringing beverages and clean crockery and cutlery. He did a mighty fine job - we tipped him accordingly, of course! ;)

At Liberty Tree Tavern in MK for dinner, we had 3 large round tables for a party of 19 all next to each other. The checks were made out for each individual table, though.

If you book up as soon as your window opens, you will have a better chance of getting seated all together.

We have reservations for our party of nine ALL OVER WDW. Advanced reservations operator did not give me the impression that there would be a problem. We'll be there in just a few days now, so I can report back afterward if you like.

Oh, yes, JJsmama! Please do report back on this topic! Thanks!

I was worried about this last August with my group of 10, cause I was told some might be "two tables"
But alas no problem we always were seated at one table! :wizard:
We did:
Chef Mickeys
Crystal Palace
Rose & Crown
Hoop De Doo
Mama Melrosa's
Donalds Breakfasours
RainForest Cafe
Hope this helps put you a little at ease!

I just made our reservations 2 days ago (for our Feb 4th trip) and was told our 9 would be at two tables of 5 for the following restaurants:

The Plaza
Mamma Melrose (for the Fantasmic show)
Whispering Canyon
Le Cellier
The Hoop De Doo show

The only one that said we would be seated together was Cape May. Guess that's what I get for waiting too long!

Did you all make your ADRs through the regular WDW-DINE number or through Group Reservations?
After Pat Dragon's experience (they had a large party and had booked through regular disney dining - at the restaurant, no record of their ADR or confirmation number at all), I want to be sure I call the right number for our upcoming party of 8.

We have had a party of 9 at one table at Le Cellier, Cape May, Ohana, & several others. A few times when making ADR, they tell me it will have to be 2 tables, but upon arrival, they end up putting us all at one. Enjoy your trip! :)

Ok, I am back after touring the World with our party of nine. The places where we all ate together were: OHana - dinner, Ohana- character breakfast, Germany's Biergarten, Uk's Rose and Crown, Whispering Canyon Cafe. No problems.

I don't think that nine is considered a large group at many places at WDW.

Have Fun

I just called Tuesday for our party of 9 for our May trip.
Chef Mickey's - one table
Crystal Palace - 2 tables, but said they would try and make it 1 table when we got there
Rain Forest Cafe- had to make 2 separate ressies. CM then gave me the direct number to RFC, her screen said party of 9 or more needs to call direct. I did call, and at the end of the conversation, he said we may be at 2 tables!

Only one you might have a problem with is Teppanyaki as I believe they traditionally only sit 8 per table there.

We had a party of ten at 1 table at CM, we could have had 1 table at 'Ohana but the time was too late so we ended up at 2 tables. We had a party of eight at CP and were at 1 table

We had Ten last May always set together.
