Seating at DS?

Hello

Trying to plan out some meals. We will be staying at Saratoga for our first few nights so if we walk over to DS to grab food, is there a lot of public seating outside?

I can always walk back with food but that might be a pain with 2 kids. We will be there New Years week so I'm worried about it being super busy and not wanting to eat inside

The Boathouse has outdoor seating, so does Chef Art’s (our favorite restaurant on property). I’m sure there are others.

Most places have outdoor seating. I think only Morimotos, Jaleo, Edison and Mario and Enzo do not.

Yes, there is some good seating scattered throughout. Polite Pig has outdoor seating and there are tables near 4Rivers as well. Most of the table service restaurants have outdoor seating, as well, if you wanted to do that. Jaleo DOES have outdoor seating - much of which overlooks the water and is quite lovely.

I think DS does a good job of having adequate benches and tables/chairs - unlike the parks

We just got back today from another stay at Saratoga and love the convenience of popping over for a meal!

We were just there this past week and will return after Christmas, so here is my two cents. DS in the evenings was way too crowded for comfort, and I wouldn’t expect to find an open table after, say, 5:00. After our first DS evening, we changed our remaining plans to avoid going back for dinner. Lunchtime was much better, but still lines to get into many stores. We were able to order Polite Pig with only 15 min wait in line and found a table fairly easily. If you plan to come for dinner, I’d stick with table service with a reservation- Boathouse was lovely as usual and had no problem seating us outside.
