Should we request any certain seating spots at the following restaurants??? if so what are our chances and why should be ask for the certain location..thanks!

Goofy's kitchen
Blue Bayou
Carnation Cafe
PCH grill
Story tellers
Ariel's grotto
Naples

Thanks!!

I've never requested special seating anywhere but Blue Bayou and there I like waterside. Otherwise I take whatever I get and I'm usually happy. Not at GK tho, we were seated in an area with hardly any character interaction and we had 2 kids with us.....

Inside for Ariel's Grotto is the only one I see that I would make sure that I got seating for. Naples has outdoor seating I think so that might be something to think about. I do not do Blue Bayou any more but people love the waterside tables. Carnation Cafe is outdoors. Some people may prefer a sidewalk table but personally I just do not like strollers and people and other stuff whizzing by me while I am eating.

You're more than welcome to request seating at any Disneyland Resort restaurant.

However, Ariel's Grotto at Disney's California Adventure Park does have separate pricing for indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor is $27.99 (3-9 Yrs.: $15.99) and Indoor is $29.99 (3-9 Yrs.: $17.99).

Can I jump on and ask about Ariles?
I thought I remebered reading once opinions on booths vs tables. Am I making this up? Is there a preference?

We were seated at a booth (didn't ask for it just got it) and we made sure our DD was seated on the end. When the princesses came they had access to her and gave her their undivided attention on her eye to eye level.
If you have more than two kids with you this may not work.

We prefer tables at Ariel's, we actually prefer outdoor seating depending on the weather. We had a booth for one meal when we had 6 people. We had 2 littles that kept sliding in and out of the booth and it was kind of a pain.

I think the booth vs tables at Ariel's may depend on party size....when we had 5 & 6 people, we got a booth.....when we had 4 we got a table. It seemed to me that the majority of tables were for 4.

I imagine you can make a request, but you may not get exactly what you wanted..... when Disney Dining makes the PS, they base it on how many people in your party & the table sizes.

Blue Bayou you can politely request waterside, but you sometimes have an extended wait as those are the most popular.
