seating at 2 tables--chefs d' france

I switched an ADR to Chefs D' France but was only able to get 2 tables. Of course sitting near each other is only a request, not guaranteed, etc. We've never been here before. They will split us 3 and 2. Has anyone had success with this type of arrangment, or any horror stories about being across the restaurant from each other?
I plan on arriving early for our 6:30 time to try and expedite things--or maybe even try to make it earlier than that. The first table for 5 she had was at 8:20 PM, which would be a huge heavy meal the night before we leave.

I'm sure they'll do their best to get you two tables together -- and in Chefs de France it won't be hard. Last time we were there, we were so close to the table next to us, we could have eaten off their plates.

Just ask -- and tell them you're willing to wait for two tables together. I don't thing you'll have any problem.

I've travelled with large groups (from 6 to 15) many times and when I make ADRs they always tell me the group will be split between 2 or more tables. Most of the time they end up pushing tables together for us. At the worst we've been at tables next to each other with an aisle separating us, and that was when we had 15 of us. We have never been at opposite sides of the restaurant. With a group of 5 you should have no problem being all together.

LOL I guess so, I just said "Gracias" because my DD#1 just finished spanish I and has the whole family saying it!

We've been told we maybe split many times at various WDW restaurants, but they have always seated us together. Have fun!

1) Most of the "deuces" (table for two) are on the window or boundary-wall.
2) The four-tops are more in the middle.
3) If they slide 4's together you will be in fine shape.
4) If they seat you 3 & 2, there probably will be a distance.
