I was just checking my flight on USAIR to see if any new seats opened up. Well, it turns out instead of a Boeing 757, it is now an Airbus 321. Well, when I looked at the seat map on USAIR for that flight and then I checked it against the seatguru map, it did not match up. Anyone else have this problem?

USAirways is in the process of reconfiguring the A321, that's why they don't match. They are taking 3 rows out of first class and making them coach, and squeezing the seats closer. I believe they are starting to take them out of service in April to have them reconfigured, I assume 1 at a time. So it depends on when your flight is if you will get the old version or the new one. The extra coach rows replacing first class are not on the seat charts on their site, they will have to be assigned at check-in depending on which plane is being used. There's a thread over in flyertalk, the ironic part is the additional passenger weight may cause unscheduled fuel stops on cross country trips. Makes alot of sense.....

Interesting...I think I will go and change my seat assignment. As of now it looks like we're in an exit row, but it also looks like there's another exit row in front of us. Is it normal to have 2 exit rows like that??:confused3

Children are not allowed to be seated in exit rows so I'd switch now if you're flying with your family....
