Hi all, my hubby has a huge wish to see this show, and i want to make it special for him. We will book Cat 1 at 180 days, but how does seating work from there?

I’ve read that seats are assigned as you check in, and I’ve also read that they can be assigned days ahead of time.

Does anyone know how it’s done?

What is the best advice?

How early do we need to show up?

Thank you so much!!

When we went, the seats were pre-assigned ahead of time, meaning, when we showed up, they already knew our table number. It was not first-come, first-served. I would just book ASAP as soon as your window opens to hope to get good seats.

Thanks, that is helpful-
Someone wrote to check in days ahead of time- that seemed a little crazy to me but I would happily take any tips I can get!

I believe it's based on when you get your ADR cause when we checked in it was mentioned (several times lol) seating was already assigned. I am going to assume that's probably so people don't rush & trample each other on the path getting out there. The nice part was then once we got outside to the next "waiting area" you didn't have to rush into line to be seated. We stood off to the side & watched the MK fireworks while they started seating the line up.

Only advice I can give you for SoA is if you want to stop at Trader Sam's afterward make sure to be ready to leave the show as soon as possible; it gets crowded following the show.

That’s good to know. Thank you!
