Seasons and Rates ??

My question is why is July 5-October 4 considered value season, not peak? The summer months are peak right? May and June are regular season? I thought that was peak crowd time? Anyone know why Disney does this for their rates?



Value Season: January 1 - February 16, July 5 - October 4, November 27 - December 19
Regular Season: April 17 - July 4, October 5 - November 26
Peak Season: February 17 - April 16
Holiday Season: December 20 - 31

The seasons you posted are for the Deluxe and Home Away from Home resorts, the Values and Moderates are slightly different:

Value Season: January 1 - February 16, August 28 - October 4, November 27 - December 19
Regular Season: April 17 - August 27, October 5 - November 26
Peak Season: February 17 - April 16
Holiday Season: December 20 - 31

WDW can be very, very hot and humidity in July and August. guests on a budget are less upset about this time - they go to the parks anyway.

I go to the parks during that time - but only in the morning and then in the early evening....
